The RoHS Directive restricts the use of hazardous materials in electronic products and has resulted in significant industry disruption and uncertainties throughout the supply chain. Navigating these uncertainties requires a commitment to close communication, information transparency, education, and process management among supply chain partners.

At Magellan, we manage the trade of both leaded and lead-free products to service our clients' needs. As such, it is incumbent upon us to ensure the integrity of our sourcing/selling and inventory management processes to ensure each client's specifications are met. All Magellan employees receive training in utilizing environmental compliance resources so as to better assist clients with their procurement and disposition requirements. The Company's Warehouse staff has amended its ISO 9001:2000 standards to ensure safeguards regarding the inspection, identification, labeling, and segregation of leaded versus lead-free product.
